CSIS Account

We have introduced an online profile management system that allows users to update their contact information, register for events, and select the topics and regions that are of interest to them. People can access their information or register with CSIS by clicking on the appropriate link in the upper right corner of every page of CSIS.org. Below are answers to a few common questions people have about the system.

Q. What if I can’t login?

If you are having trouble logging in, please visit the login page.  You will be asked to enter your email address.  If we do not already have your email address, you will be asked to register.  If your email address is already in the system, an email will be sent to your address with further instructions.  Emails are usually received in less than five minutes. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam filter/folder.

Q. What browsers can I use?

Our profile management system is best viewed through Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Q. How long should it take emails to get to me?

Emails from MyAccess@csis.org usually arrive within one minute, but can take up to five minutes depending on many factors.  If you do not receive an email,please check your spam filter/folder. If you still cannot find an email you can email your inquiry to MyAccess@csis.org.

Q. How many emails will I receive?

The number of emails you receive will depend on the number of topics or regions you select.  CSIS tries to be judicious in the number of emails we send. If you are interested in a number of different topics or regions, you will receive information from CSIS more frequently.  Subscribers are able to adjust what they receive at any time by changing their “Topics and Regions of Interest” found on the My Account page.

Q. Will you share my information with others?

CSIS will not share personal contact information you provide with us with other organizations.

Q. The cost of events is confusing. Do I have to pay to attend an event?

CSIS does not charge for events.  “Cost” appears on the registration form because we will expand the online profile management system to enable you to purchase books and make donations.
