The End of the Unipolar Moment
According to The Washington Times, the National Intelligence Council (NIC) will be releasing a report today titled "Global Trends 2025 - A Transformed World." As opposed to previous reports, this one will assume a multipolar world, where the U.S. is no longer the dominant power. The rising influence of developing countries such as Russia, India, and China play a large part in this assumption, and will transform the United States into a "first among equals." Nothing in the report is fated, but the question is how the United States might adapt to this world or if it will try to preserve its unipolarity in the future.
