GRE or SAT Vocabulary for Hunger Alleviation

As proof of the variety and versatility of aid programs, check out FreeRice. The website seeks to improve people’s vocabulary as it works to relieve hunger across the world. Users can play a game that involves matching up words with their meaning in order to “win” grains of rice that are then donated to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), which works in over 75 countries. The game adjusts itself to the user’s language skill level after a couple of questions: the more words you match up, the more difficult they become. The money to pay for this rice is generated by advertisements from sponsors that appear at the bottom of the page during each stage of the challenge. The website touts the benefits of improving one’s own verbal knowledge while engaging in altruistic behavior. It’s certainly a bit addictive.

I played with it some myself, it is somewhat addictive. I also have a bad habit of thinking that the test is trying to psych me out. It really doesn't seem to be.
