Greatest Levels of Political and Economic Uncertainty in a Decade
The World Economic Forum has released a new report warning that the international community is facing the greatest levels of political and economic uncertainty in a decade. Global Risks 2008 highlights four major issues that will impact the world economy in the near future: systematic financial risk, food security, energy, and supply chain vulnerability associated with trade. These topics will be discussed further at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting later this month in Davos, Switzerland. The report’s analysis is based on input obtained from top business leaders, decision-makers, scientists, and academics. To read more, click here. To access the full report PDF, click here.
