Company: European Peacebuilding Liaison Office Job Title: Director Description: EPLO is looking for an exceptional candidate to drive the network forward over the next few years. EPLO has been undergoing a period of significant development, building up its profile with all the key EU Institutions, increasing its membership and consolidating its funding base. As Director, you will be at the centre of further developing and overseeing EPLO’s medium and long-term strategy. Based in Brussels and supported by a small and highly talented and committed team, you will Bring your experience of working effectively with networks of NGOs or similar organisations Bring your commitment to working within and with NGOs and networks of NGOs and your openness to working with other networks Coordinate EPLO’s policy and advocacy work Represent EPLO at the highest levels Be responsible for fundraising Be responsible for staff and financial management. In all areas, you will report to, and work closely with, the EPLO Steering Committee and build and maintain strong relations with member organizations. We are looking for someone with strong leadership and management experience coupled with a proven ability to build and support networks of organisations. Ideally, the successful candidate will combine a thorough understanding of EU structures and institutions with knowledge/expertise in peacebuilding. A proven track record in fundraising, budget management and financial reporting is a must. Fluency in English and at least one other European language is a requirement.
