Live Webcast on Monday | Water and Agriculture: Implications for Development and Growth

You are invited to join the GSI team and our partners at Johns Hopkins SAIS via webcast for a day-long conference on water and agriculture. The webcast will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday and will close around 4:30 p.m. You can participate through live chat, Twitter and even cell phone streaming! Just visit the SAIS web site to join us.

The conference on Monday will convene international leaders — from government, the private sector, nongovernmental organizations, and academia — to share their expertise in the realms of water, agriculture and global development. Discussions will focus on the impact of these global resource trends on smallholder farmers, assessing strategies to increase both financial incomes and health outcomes in an effort to reduce poverty and improve smallholder farmer livelihood.
