Michèle Flournoy on Afghanistan and Pakistan

CSIS hosted Michèle Flournoy, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, for an address on Afghanistan and Pakistan strategy. Ms. Flournoy co-chaired the Afghanistan-Pakistan interagency policy review with Ambassador Richard Holbrooke (co-chair) and Bruce Riedel (chair). In her remarks, she discussed the review process, what has and has not worked, and challenges going foward, including finding ways to measure progress and operationalize our strategy.
