More Wikis and Webs | New CSIS Report

Good friend of the PCR Project, Guy Ben-Ari, has co-authored a new report called “International Collaborative Online Networks: Lessons Learned from the Public, Private and Non-Profit Sectors.” We've looked at some of these issues, too, in our Wikis, Webs, and Networks report. From the summary:

With more and more government agencies, international organizations and non-profit organizations becoming active in online communities of interest, this report highlights the key challenges of successfully reaching out to partners, incentivizing participation and measuring effectiveness, and suggests ways to address them. It also provides an in-depth analysis of four online networks run by the Central Intelligence Agency, the United Nations, the Development Gateway Foundation, and CSIS.
