Overcoming Extremism Featured Speaker | Dr. Hany El Banna

As promised, a small glimpse into the lives of our wonderful panelists at the Overcoming Extremism conference (Oct 22nd-23rd; register now!): Dr. Hanni El Banna, founder and president of Islamic Relief has spent most of his life working to allieviate poverty around the world. He deserves admiration not only for his dedication and swift response to the survivors of the 2004 tsunami in Indonensia and Sri Lanka, but for his continuous efforts to bring long term interventions to those in need. It is both an honor and a privilege to host him at the conference and it will be interesting to hear his insight on providing practical and timely aid when others are just beginning to get the wheels rolling.
