PCR Project Event | Afghanistan 2008

Yesterday, the PCR Project hosted Ms. Favia Koofi, a member of the Afghan Parliament, and Ambassador Ronald Neumann, former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, to discuss the situation in Afghanistan and prospects for the future.

The Project on Middle East Democracy wrote a great summary, available here, on the event. It was really wonderful hearing views from the speakers, both of whom provided an excellent portrayal of the sucesses and obstacles faced in Afghanistan.
