Robert Reich on the U.S. Economy and American Competitiveness

The Freakonomics blog features a question-and-answer piece with Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under President Clinton. The post is somewhat lengthy, but Mr. Reich provides interesting and insightful responses to questions on the future prospects for labor, income inequality in the U.S., U.S. power and leadership vis-à-vis the rest of the world (particularly China), and the American education system as it relates to global competitiveness. He also refers to his most recent book, Supercapitalism, in giving these responses. Click here and here to read reviews of the book.
