Upcoming Event | Illuminating the Public Sphere in Post-Conflict and Fragile Environments

Flikr photo by TheFatBuddah used under a Creative Commons license.  On Tuesday, Feb 17, from 3:00-5:00 pm, PCR Project Co-Director will chair a discussion, Illuminating the Public Sphere in Post-Conflict and Fragile Environments.  The event will feature authors Shanthi Kalathil and Henriette von Kaltenborn-Stachau, who will present two new papers released by CommGAP, along with discussant Ivan Sigal.  In their respective papers, the authors argue that "public-sphere” communications – civil society, media, dialogue, and responsive institutions – requires greater attention for stability in post-conflict and fragile states.  World Bank J Building Auditorium, J1-050 18th St and Pennsylvania Ave Washington, D.C.
