Stockholm Forum on Atlantic Media and the Environment (FAME-II)

  • The CSIS Transatlantic Media Network hosted its second annual U.S.-European environmental journalists' conference in Stockholm in cooperation with Swedish institutional and educational partners.

    The meeting was attended by leading U.S. and European environmental journalists. Various subjects were discussed, including challenges facing environmental journalism, differing media and public perspectives on either side of the Atlantic, and the role played by environmental issues in U.S. and European politics. The Stockholm summit continued the dialogue started at FAME-1 at the University of Colorado at Boulder from November 12 to 15, 2008.
