2nd U.S.-European Environmental Journalists' Summit

The CSIS Transatlantic Media Network hosted its second annual U.S.-European Environmental Journalists' summit in Stockholm in cooperation with Swedish institutional and educational partners.

The meeting was attended by leading U.S. and European environmental journalists. Various subjects were discussed, including challenges facing environmental journalism, differing media and public perspectives on either side of the Atlantic, and the role played by environmental issues in U.S. and European politics. The Stockholm Summit continued the dialogue started at the first U.S.-European Environmental Journalists' Summit at the University of Colorado at Boulder from November 12 to 15, 2008.
