Adapting for Future Resource Challenges: Food, Water, and Energy

April 15, 2010 • 1:00 – 5:00 pm EDT

The impacts of climate change will require societies to adapt practices and incorporate greater resilience into their built environments.  The systems around three key resources - food, water, and energy - are some of the most important areas to focus adaptation measures.  This event explored the expected impact of climate change and other stresses in each of these areas, the trade-offs often made between food, water and energy systems, and some of the policy and technology solutions being brought to bear.
