Washington DC, 20006The Africa Partnership Station seeks to build relationships with West African states in the Gulf of Guinea by strengthening both military and civilian partner country capacities in safety and security, environmental stewardship, and disaster preparedness in the maritime domain. At the event, Captain Thebaud discussed how the second Africa Partnership Station (APS) mission has expanded its second mission, how APS will be sustained in the future, and how the mission fits into the larger strategic goals of the U.S. Africa Command.
