The American Faith Community's Contributions to Global Health

January 30, 2012 • 8:30 – 10:30 pm EST

Please join us on January 30, 3:30pm – 5:30pm, as we launch a new event series looking at the future of global HIV/AIDS efforts in the lead up to AIDS2012.

Our kick off session will put a spotlight on the American faith community, and its contributions, special partnerships, and assets in the fight against HIV/AIDS. AIDS2012 conference organizers Diane Havlir, Chris Beyrer, and Bertrand Audoin will begin with a forward look to the July 22 – 27 conference program, followed by a roundtable discussion between key leaders in the faith community: Kay Warren of Saddleback Church; Anita Smith, President of the Children’s AIDS Fund; Ken Hackett, outgoing President of the Catholic Relief Services; and Kent Hill, Senior Vice President for International Programs at World Vision.
