American Universities' Engagement in Global Health

    American universities are experiencing an unprecedented surge in global health programs. Students and faculty alike have become actively engaged in operational research, project analysis, workforce training, and increasing policy debates. Universities are organizing themselves and developing a global health vision through the newly launched Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH). This discussion focuses on the roots of this phenomenon and future implications.
