Western Balkans 2010 Policy Review Launch

On September 21, 2010 the CSIS Lavrentis Lavrentiadis Chair in Southeast European Studies hosted a half-day conference entitled “Are Europe and NATO Still Widening?” to launch the Chair’s first annual publication, the Western Balkans 2010 Policy Review. This novel and comprehensive publication offers policy recommendations for a more effective U.S., NATO, and EU role in Southeast Europe. The conference focused on current approaches toward NATO and EU enlargement and will assess the progress of the Balkan Peninsula in this ambitious geostrategic project. The event was held from 9:00am to 2:00pm in B1 Conference Floor at CSIS.
