CSIS's Russia and Eurasia Program hosted a discussion on security issues and legal developments in Georgia in the wake of heightened tensions in Georgian-Russian relations and Georgia's local elections.
Our speakers were David Bakradze, Giorgi Bokeria, and Nikoloz Rurua, members of parliament and leading members of the National Movement. They discussed Georgia's recent efforts to increase the country's security, its progress in building democratic and legal institutions, and the challenges ahead.
