The CSIS Energy and National Security Program is pleased to host the presentation of Canada's Energy Future 2016: Energy Supply and Demand Projections to 2040. This report, part of Canada's National Energy Board (NEB)’s Energy Future series and released every two years, features mid to long term projections of Canadian energy supply and demand for all energy types and jurisdictions in Canada. The 2016 edition of the report considers various projections for higher and lower energy prices, constrained energy infrastructure/market access, and a range of LNG exports. The report is similar to the Energy Information Administration's Annual Energy Outlook and is the only publicly available Canadian long-term energy outlook that includes all energy commodities in all provinces and territories. Abha Bhargava, Director of Energy Integration with NEB, Bryce Van Sluys, Co-Project Manager - Energy Futures with NEB, and Matthew Hansen, Co-Project Manager - Energy Futures with NEB will present the report. Guy Caruso, Senior Advisor with the CSIS Energy and National Security Program, will moderate.
