The CSIS Africa Program, in collaboration with the Open Society Institute, welcomed two leading campaigners for democratic reform in Nigeria.  Mr Onyeagucha, an environmental human rights lawyer based in the Niger Delta, and Mr Lukman, a development economist and activist, discussed their efforts to strengthen political institutions in Nigeria and discussed the prospects for reform ahead of crucial presidential elections in 2011.
