- Sunday - Monday, May 4 - 5, 2008
-
The US-ROK-Japan trilateral discussion will follow up on research that Scott Snyder and Brad Glosserman have been doing on national identity and its impact on Japanese and Korean relations with the US and each other and the prospects for trilateral cooperation. We plan to examine how conceptions of national identity in South Korea and Japan are impacting bilateral relations between the two countries, each county’s alliance relationships with the U.S., and trilateral relations among the three countries.
