China: The Balance Sheet Panel Discussion

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Institute of International Economics (IIE), and PublicAffairs Books held a panel discussion on the critical issues in U.S.-China relations on the eve of the visit by China’s President Hu Jintao. 

The panel featured CSIS's Bates Gill and Derek Mitchell, along with IIE's Nicolas Lardy and C. Fred Bergsten. The four wrote the new book, China: The Balance Sheet  (PublicAffairs), which is now available for purchase.
