This panel will address the role of China and China's economy as factors in U.S. economic health and the US economic recovery. As both China and the United States suffer from the current economic crisis, it is crucial that there is a high degree of communication and comprehensive understanding of the situation in and relationship between both nations.  Additionally, the panel will address how evolving Chinese and American economic strategies fit into the broader international debate on the future architecture of global economics and finance.
