Combating Avian Influenza and HIV/AIDS: Vietnam's National Policy

  • Vietnam's Minister of Health Dr. Tran Thi Trung Chien; Dr. Nguyen Huy Nga, general, Vietnam's Administration of HIV/AIDS Control; and Dr. Nguyen Tran Hein, director, Vietnam's National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, discussed Vietnam's national health policies, combating avian influenza and, the status of HIV/AIDS. The delegation also reflected on Vietnam's first year as a focus country of the President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR).
