    The CSIS Task Force on HIV/AIDS and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation hosted Craig McClure, executive director of the International AIDS Society (IAS) or a roundtable discussion on the upcoming 2007 IAS conference to be held in Mexico City in August.

    McClure discussed the importance of International AIDS conferences as a way of bringing together many important perspectives and interests and for host countries to increase engagement on global HIV/AIDS. McClure also noted the benefits that host countries experience after holding an International AIDS conference to include important economic impacts and policy changes.
