WASHINGTON, April 6th, 2012—The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) hosted a press briefing to discuss the issues surrounding President Obama's attendance at the Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia on April 14th.

Stephen Johnson, director of the Americas Program at CSIS and former deputy assistant secretary of defense for Western Hemisphere affairs.
 
Meredith Broadbent, senior adviser and Scholl Chair in International Business at CSIS and former assistant U.S. trade representative for industry, market access and telecommunications.
 
Daniel F. Runde, Schreyer Chair and director Project on Prosperity and Development at CSIS and former head of the Foundations Unit for the Department of Partnerships and Advisory Service Operations at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
