Democracy and Governance in Nigeria: the Road Ahead

July 7, 2015 • 1:00 – 4:00 pm EDT

Please join us for a discussion on democracy and governance in Nigeria, as Africa's largest country aims to build on the success of its recent elections. The conference will comprise two panels: the first focusing on how civil society and others can consolidate the recent democratic gains and bridge the divides deepened by the election period; and the second on what Nigeria’s priorities should be as it sets its course for the years to come. Panelists will share their perspectives on how best to address issues around security and the economy, and the task of re-building a national consensus around democracy and governance.
