On July 1, 2012, the Republic of Cyprus will assume the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union.  In anticipation of his government's leadership role, Mr. Mavroyiannis will offer insight into Cyprus' agenda and priorities, particularly the EU 2014-2020 budget.  Among other topics, Mr. Mavroyiannis will discuss efforts to stem the ongoing sovereign debt crisis, the EU enlargement agenda and relations with neighboring Turkey.  Please join us for a timely and informative discussion with Mr. Mavroyiannis, moderated by Heather Conley, CSIS Europe Program Director.
