Budgets, Regulatory Frameworks, and the Industrial Base 2010
The Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group invites you to a briefing on European defense trends.
A key determinant for European defense capabilities is the European defense market, which consists of three main elements: national defense budgets, the European defense acquisition regulatory environment, and the European defense and security industrial base. The Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group conducted an in-depth analysis of these three components and their interplay in 2010, titled European Defense Trends: Budgets, Regulatory Frameworks, and the Industrial Base.
The briefing provides an update to this effort, incorporating newly available data for 2010. In addition, it offers recommendations tailored toward the relevant stakeholders – national governments, the European Union (EU), and the European defense industry – on how to respond more effectively to recent trends in the European defense market.
