In this public conference, leading experts from the United States, Japan, China, and Australia will share their perspectives on economic integration in East Asia.  Speakers include Takashi Shiraishi, President, Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO) and Executive Member, Council for Science and Technology Policy, Cabinet Office; and Kurt Tong, Economic Coordinator for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs and Senior Official for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), U.S. Department of State.
