The Future of the Internet - Who Decides?

On January 12, ICANN launches the largest domain name expansion since the creation of the Internet. Rod Beckstrom, CEO of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) discussed this global achievement, ICANN's multi-stakeholder model that made it possible, and the rapid internationalization of the Internet.
ICANN is a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with participants from all over the world dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable. It promotes competition and develops policy on the Internet’s unique identifiers.
