Georgian-NATO Relations and Georgian Security

  • On March 21, CSIS hosted a panel of Georgian officials to address Georgian defense reform, implementation of the NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan, and other regional security issues. Mamuka Kudava, first deputy defense minister; Giorgi Manjgaladze, deputy foreign minister; and Nika Rurua, deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on defense and security, were joined by the Hon. Vasil Sikharulidze, the ambassador of Georgia to the United States.
