Ghana's Millennium Challenge Account Compact

Ghanaian President John Kufuor and Ambassador John J. Danilovich, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), spoke at CSIS regarding Ghana's newly signed MCC compact. Dr. John Hamre, CSIS's president and CEO, introduced them.

The speeches were followed by a panel discussion on the compact with:

• Jennifer Cooke, co-director of CSIS's Africa Program
• Jonathan Bloom, managing director at the MCC for agricultural and private sector development
• Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Ghana's minister for public sector reform
• Mark Lippert, foreign policy adviser to Senator Barack Obama (D-IL)
