Morning Session

The Global Security Forum 2012 is a forum on the top challenges facing U.S. and global security. The deeply uncertain budget environment going forward has serious implications for the Department of Defense’s planning cycle. The panel will explore how DOD is approaching and should approach the drawdown, how the budget impacts strategy in a fiscally constrained environment, and the challenges presented by sequestration and the ambiguity of defense funding in the future.
