FRANCIS FUKUYAMA, dean of faculty and Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of the Johns Hopkins University, spoke at the inaugural Global Strategy Institute Forum. Dr. Fukuyama discussed his thinking on ethics and biotechnology, stating that we are moving into the "posthuman" world in which the continuity of prior generations—in social norms, modes of behavior, even value systems—might be irrevocably changed.Programs
