Harnessing the Potential of Diaspora Finance

Please join us for an expert panel discussion on current trends and innovations in diaspora finance, with a focus on the experience of Bangladesh. In 2013 alone, middle and low-income countries received an estimated $414 billion in remittances from members of the diaspora. Diaspora finance has shown immense promise for economic growth and development in both developing and established nations. Government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector are showing increased interest in leveraging diaspora capital.

Panelists will explore how to facilitate connections among diaspora networks globally and develop innovative diaspora finance products that achieve social impact and financial return.
