Professor Hu Angang, Director of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University analyzed briefly the characteristics and transformations of China's economy after 25 years of reform, the influence of SARS on China's economy, the reasons why China can keep high growth rate notwithstanding the shock of SARS, and the guideline and direction of China's economic development in the post-SARS period.
