Homeland Defense and Security in America: Evolving Policy and Strategy for the 21st Century

CSIS's Homeland Security Program was a partner for a forum on homeland security and defense that was part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Security Series. Other partners were the United States Army War College's Center for Strategic Leadership, George Washington University's Homeland Security Policy Institute, the Heritage Foundation, and the Association of the United States Army.
The Homeland Security Program also organized the forum's fourth panel, "Domestic Intelligence for Homeland Defense." David Heyman, director of the Homeland Security Program, moderated the panel. Participants were:

- Mary McCarthy, former senior director, National Security Council
