Homeland Security: International Cooperation

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff emphasized the importance of international cooperation in battling terrorism and outlined ways to improve global coordination, information sharing and joint operations at a CSIS event on May 19. Chertoff spoke before heading to Europe to meet with security officials.
