India and the United States: The Future, and the Vision

On November 24th, Barack Obama will host Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for an official state visit, the first he will host since becoming President.  The two leaders will discuss the United States and India’s unique partnership and build upon the strategic dialogue that was initiated in July.  Ambassador Shankar will offer her thoughts on the meeting and the future of the relationship.  She will focus on prospects for strengthening ties between the United States and India while touching on topics of importance for both countries.
