Intelligence Reform: Time to Look Forward

  • chambliss.jpgSen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) proposed the next steps in intelligence reform in an April 7 address at CSIS. Chambliss, a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Armed Services Committee, explored human intelligence (HUMINT), congressional oversight, and the formation of a unified combatant command for intelligence (INTCOM) within the Department of Defense, asserting that last year's intelligence reform bill was the beginning of a process and that much more work must be done.
