Meeting on the Turkish Economy

M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, chairman of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), spoke about prospects for the Turkish economy. He discussed the IMF-backed economic recovery program and urged greater trade cooperation between the United States and Turkey. A group of leading Turkish businessmen accompanied him.
