"Mobilizing Development": Exploring How Technology Supports Development

On June 22, 2011 the UN Foundation released a report, "Mobilizing Development," which explores their partnership with the telecommunications company, Vodafone.  Ms. Calvin and Ms. Waugaman discussed the role of public-private partnerships as a catalyst for building development capacity.  In particular, they focused on the increasingly vital role of technology in humanitarian responses, global health initiatives, and local development overall.
