New Power Dynamics in Southeast Asia: Issues for U.S. Policy

  • Wednesday - Thursday, Jun 18 - 19, 2008

  • This project examines the impact of changing power relations in the Asia-Pacific region on Southeast Asian politics, security, and economics and the implication of these trends for U.S. policy. It will culminate with recommendations for a new U.S. administration following the 2008 elections. The June 2008 Honolulu meeting will be the wrap-up session for the project, and will include participants from throughout East Asia.
