    This event will examine Venezuela’s economic outlook in the immediate and mid-term. Potential issues to be covered include the macroeconomic policies of the government of Venezuela in the face of the global downturn, the effects of declining revenue flow from oil exports, projections for state and private finance, the outlook for foreign and domestic investment, and projections for the energy sector.
