The CSIS Mexico Project hosted Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, who discussed the foreign policy of the Calderón Administration. This included the bilateral relationship with the United States, the Mexico-U.S.-Canada trilateral relationship, the re-energized focus towards Latin America, and their stance towards the rest of the world. Secretary Espinosa also outlined the Calderón Administration’s approach to foriegn policy via multilateral forums such as the United Nations (UN), the Organization of American States (OAS), and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
