Creating an Inclusive Business Model
Featured speaker:
Minister Richard Espinosa
Coordinating Minister for Social Policy
As Latin America continues efforts to lift its citizens out of poverty, the spotlight is on increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Ecuador's recent efforts to build innovative partnerships for SMEs between the government, private businesses, and local communities offer an example of how to achieve this. In addition to members of the Ecuadoran government, the event will also feature representatives of Ecuador's business sector and community leaders that have partnered and created successful businesses. Please join us for an informative and timely look into how Ecuador is constructing a better business environment by promoting profitable associations between large and small businesses, and what the region can learn from such efforts.
The event will be in Spanish with simultaneous translation offered.
Open to the public, however space is limited. To RSVP, please send confirmation no later than COB Wednesday, May 30, to the Americas Program at americas@csis.org.
