  • The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will host a select and high-level group of experts and senior policymakers for a two-day conference on “Recent Trends in the South China Sea and U.S. Policy” on July 10 and 11. The two-day conference will be held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), 1616 Rhode Island Ave, NW, Washington, DC.

The conference will feature speeches by a member of Congress and senior administration officials, and remarks and discussion by an all-star lineup of South China Sea and legal experts, including representatives from Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.

The conference will include a simulation featuring U.S. responses to a hypothetical crisis in the South China Sea.
