Experiences of the Aga Khan Development Network
On Tuesday, March 29, we discussed the potential for regional and cross-border efforts to strengthen health systems in Central and South Asia with Dr. Gijs Walraven, Director of the Aga Khan Health Services of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Dr. Walraven, spoke about AKDN’s work to strengthen health systems through a regional approach to service delivery, human resources, local research capacity, and health financing in the challenging and remote environments of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.
